This season we'll be posting our observations and experience about the various plant species from our forest gardens and regenerative landscapes, as well as interesting plants and polycultures from around the world.
Spanish broom is very invasive in northern California and a big fire hazard. I find lemon bam to be too invasive to plant. but I really like your work. have you received my book yet?
Hi Robert, thanks for your comments. Indeed, lemon balm does spread rapidly into open spaces but does not seem to take hold in areas already planted. This is one of the reasons I like the plant as it fills out the empty spaces and provides good biomass for mulch (as long as it's cut before going to seed). The book has not arrived as of yet.
Lovely, thank you for such a brilliant overview, really inspiring :)
Thanks, glad to hear you appreciate it.
