Hedges are versatile features in a garden, used to block a view, shield wind, create partitions to different areas or to mark the boundaries of a property. Most of the time the hedge will be trimmed to a rectangular shape and composed of a single species however, there is no fundamental reason for a hedge to be dull and monotonous. A hedge can be full of flowers throughout the season, flowers that transform to edible fruits and that’s exactly what this edible hedge polyculture delivers. A diverse display of flowers from February - May and fruits from April -October.

Along with this floral beauty and tasty edibles this polyculture will also very likely elevate biodiversity within your garden and boost ecological health.
